2012 EVENTS
Annual U.S. Symposium
Knowing God: Learning from the Spiritual Giants – Augustine, Monks, Reformers, and Puritans
From March 30-31, Wycliffe will hold a teaching event, co-hosted by St. James, Newport Beach. This year’s theme will take a look at Christian spirituality through the eyes of past and into the present.
Wycliffe’s summer school will take place July 8-13; the theme is tentatively set as Heroes of Oxford. Summertime in Oxford is a treat, and feasting on God’s word and the lively teaching at Wycliffe Hall makes it even better. This year we’ll consider some of Oxford’s “heroes” over the last thousand years from Frideswide to Lennox. If you’ve never been a part of this annual summer tradition, make this the year!
A private tour of Oxford and London will be led by Peter Walker from May 19-23. This will include teaching at Wycliffe, private tour of the House of Lords, and a stay in a private club in London. Please contact Stephanie at 713-598-1526 for more information. For the second year, Wycliffe is arranging a private tour of Oxford and London to be led by Peter Walker from May 19-23. This will includeteaching at Wycliffe, a lunch and private tour of the House of Lords, and a stay in a private club in London. Please consider those (including yourself!) who might be a good fit for this tour and contact Stephanie for details. Here are some testimonies from some of last year’s participants:
